Water and Waste Practice

Achieve success in the Water Care industry the INTEC way! As a water treatment operator, your duties will include purifying water for analysis in the laboratory, general maintaining the plant and basic administrative tasks.

The course focuses on the usage of water, water sources, water supply and the environment, water quality and treatment, waste-water, and sanitation systems. You will also learn about waste-water treatment, record-keeping, safety measures and basic laboratory procedures and practices.

Laboratory Assistant

Chemical Process Control

Learn about the effective and safe manufacturing of products such as acids, plastics and explosives. This course introduces you to basic chemistry, the development of pipes and types of pipes, pipeline valve installation, meters and regulators, and the importance of pumps. It also includes an introduction to water treatment and distillation, reservoirs, the development and classification of reservoirs and volumes, and protection against fire.
